UN honors 180 Egyptian peacekeepers in DR Congo

The UN honored Wednesday 180 Egyptian peacekeepers
for their efforts to maintain security in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The honorees are part of the UN Organization
Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO).
They were granted the UN medals for their efforts to
maintain peace and security in the Central African country.
The ceremony was attended by the Egyptian ambassador
in Kinshasa and other civil and military officials.
Speaking at the honoring ceremony, the head of the
honored EGYFPU-2 police force Alaa Eldin Badri said serving under the UN was a
great honor.
