At least 8 people have been wounded in a grenade
explosion that took place in Bosaso, a port city in Somalia’s Puntland state.
A witness said the blast was heard outside a court
compound in the town, wounding eight, including soldiers, Shabelle Media
Network reported on Saturday.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for
the bomb attack, but, such incidents are attributed to Al Shabaab and Daesh
militants operating in Bari region.
US military said on Thursday it killed 13 Daesh
members during an airstrike in the region, the latest in a series of increasing
raids against the militant groups.
