Qatar’s regime is angered by any Qatari tribe that rejects the country’s policies, which support terrorism and finance takfiri organizations. The Qatari regime revokes citizenship of Qatari tribesmen who reject Doha’s policies.
Doha has revoked the citizenship of poet Mohammed Al-Marri Al-Marri, who holds the title Millions’ Poet for supporting Saudi Arabia and denouncing Doha's policies.
The Qatari regime also revoked the citizenship of Sheikh Shafi Nasser Hamoud Al-Hajri, the elder of the tribe of Al-Hawajer for criticizing the regime over its anti-Gulf policies.
In September 2017, Qatar stripped Sheikh Talib Bin Lahoum Bin Shraim, leader of Al-Murrah tribe with more than 50 people from his family of citizenship.
