Iraqi troops destroy Daesh camp in Anbar

Iraqi army announced on Sunday it destroyed a
training camp affiliated with Daesh terrorist group during a search operation
in Al Anbar governorate.
"Backed by the air forces, Anbar operation
command managed to carry out a military operation to search for Daesh sleeper
cells," Adviser to Iraqi Defense Ministry Lt. General Mohamed el Askari
was quoted by Radio Sawa as saying.
He added that the troops pushed 130 kilometers deep
into southwest Ain Assad Air Base.
Besides destroying the camp, the troops seized arms
found there and hunted down terrorists who fled the scene by warplanes, Askari
noted.
