Houthis loot, smuggle monuments of Sanaa mosques

An official at the Houthi-held Awqaf Ministry in
Sanaa said Houthis are looting and smuggling monuments and historical scripts
in Sanaa mosques.
Ismail al Jurmozi, a senior ministry official, said
the ministry's projects for restoring the mosques turned into excavation for
monuments to steal and smuggle them, according to Al Arabiya news channel.
Local media sources said Houthi militias have
smuggled one of the oldest Quran manuscripts in the Great Mosque of Sanaa.
