Masrour Barzani named as new PM of Iraqi Kurdistan

The Iraqi Kurdistan Parliament on Tuesday named
Masrour Barzani for the post of prime minister, Kurdistan 24 reported.
For the appointment to be effective he must receive
his mandate from his cousin Nechirvan Barzani who was sworn in as president of
the autonomous region on Monday.
Masrour Barzani was presented by the Kurdistan
Democratic Party (KDP) as its candidate for the post.
