Putin: Fighting terrorism is priority to SCO summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin asserted on Friday
that fighting terrorism and drying up its funding sources is a top priority on
Shanghai Cooperation Organisation's (SCO) summit.
Putin said while addressing SCO's leaders that it is
important to develop regional cooperation through the organisation to ban
funding terrorists along side with banning them from acquiring chemical and weapons
of mass destruction, RT news chanel reported.
SCO comprises eight member states including Russia,
China, Kazakhstan, India, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan,
while Iran, Afghanistan, Belarus and Mongolia have observer status.
