Libyan political powers back support for Libya, integrity of its territories
Libyan national powers have greeted Egypt under the
leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the head of the African Union,
over the political support they extended to the Libyan people to end the crisis
and defeat extremism and terrorism in the Arab country.
In the final communique following the end of their
meetings in Cairo Tuesday, the Libyan political powers expressed support for
the stability of Libya and the integrity of its territories and greeted the
Libyan armed forces which responded to their call to get rid of terrorism.
They called on the Libyan army to continue its
battle against militias in Tripoli which they said became a hotbed for
terrorists and achieve security and stability in the country to establish a
civil state and flourishing democracy for all Libyan people.
They condemned the Qatari and Turkish military
support for militias and held head of the presidential council Fayez al Serajj
responsible for the deterioration of conditions in the country.
The Libyan powers accused Qatar and Turkey of
bringing terrorists and mercenaries from tense areas in Syria and Iraq to fight
the Libyan army.
