Syrian ambassador in Moscow: War on terrorism in its final stage

Syrian Ambassador to Russia Riyadh Haddad said the war on terrorism in Syria entered its final phase as militants are currently escaping to various world countries to carry out terror attacks.

The Syrian ambassador's remarks were made during an international meeting of senior officials in charge of security matters held in the Russian city "Ofa", reported the Russian News Agency "Sputnik".

The Syrian diplomat voiced belief that runaway militants would head for another countries after they have gained combat skills and tactic potentials to recruit other elements and prepare for carrying out terrorist attacks in other parts of the world.
