Trial of MB leaders adjourned till June 29

The Cairo Criminal Court adjourned till June 22 the
trial of 22 leaders and elements of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) to
June 29.
They had been charged with committing crimes,
collaborating with foreign organizations, divulging secrets damaging the
country's national security and coordinating with groups to carry out terrorist
organization.
The court issued during a session under counselor
Shaaban El Shamy in 2015 death sentences by hanging against MB leaders Khairat
El Shater, Mohamed El Beltagui and Ahmed Amin and also sentenced another 13
defendants to various jail sentence.
Investigations revealed that the MB elements
infiltrated into the Gaza Strip through tunnels with the help of Hamas movement
to receive military training on the use of weapons at the hands of elements of
Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
