Extraordinary African summit kicks off in Niger, Sisi chairperson
The extraordinary African summit kicked off here
Sunday under the chairmanship of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the current
president of the African Union.
Leaders and heads of governments of 55 African Union
countries are taking part in the 12th extraordinary African summit that runs
through Monday.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi underlined the
importance of putting into force the African Free Trade Area agreement,
considering this a great achievement.
Sisi highlighted the importance of promoting
communications with the private sector to implement this important agreement.
He added that great efforts should be exerted to
realize economic integration among African states.
Sisi said developing the infrastructure is
indispensable, calling for promoting investments to realize the utmost benefit
of the deal.
