Iraqi popular forces destroy Daesh site southern Ba'aj district

Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces said on Sunday it
razed an outpost of Daesh terrorist group during 'Will of Victory' military
operation.
The operation was launched to purge Salah El Din,
Nineveh and Al Anbar governorates from Daesh extremists.
The popular forces destroyed the Daesh site in Al
Ba'aj district where military and logistic equipment were found, Alsumaria news
channel reported.
Iraq's joint operation command announced on Sunday
the launch of the first stage of 'Will of Victory' military operation across three
governorates on borders with Syria to pursuit fighters of Daesh terrorist
organization.
In the early hours of Sunday, the first large-scale
phase of the operation was launched to purge the governorates of Salah El Din,
Nineveh and Al Anbar governorates, Lt. General Abdel Amir Rashid Yarallah, the
deputy commander of the joint operation, was quoted by Alsumaria news channel
as saying.
The operation is being carried out by detachments of
Iraqi army alongside troops of the popular mobilization, the deputy commander
stated.
The operation is backed by Iraqi and international
coalition air forces, he added.
