Turkish opposition leader asks Erdogan to give up Brotherhood, reconcile with Egypt

Some Turkish opposition platforms have aired a video of Kemal Kılıcdaroglu, the leader of the opposition Republican People's Party, demanding Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to end his support to the Muslim Brotherhood and make reconciliation with Egypt.
Turkey, Kılıcdaroglu says in the video, pays
dearly for getting involved in this conflict.
He called on the Turkish government to send an
ambassador to hammer out reconciliation with Cairo.
"We have a common culture and a common
history," Kılıcdaroglu said.
He said Erdogan has to give up support to the Brotherhood if he is
serious about not running at a foreign policy loss.
"What is the Brotherhood?" Kılıcdaroglu asked. "We live
in the Turkish Republic and the interests of this republic are far more
important than anything else."
He said Turkey has to make reconciliation with Egypt.
"Why should we enter a conflict with Egypt?" Kılıcdaroglu
asked. "We have a common history and a common culture."
