Trump greets Sisi on July 23 Revolution anniversary
US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said the US values its
close cooperation with Egypt in the field of security and terror combat.
This came in a message of congratulation sent by President Trump
to his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the occasion of July 23
Revolution anniversary.
In his message, which released by the US Embassy Embassy in
Cairo on Tuesday, Trump said: "On behalf of the American people, I send
our most sincere greetings and congratulations on this anniversary of your
national day, July 23."
"For decades, the United States and Egypt have enjoyed
a strong partnership, rooted in our shared hope for a more peaceful, secure,
and successful region. The United States values our close cooperation on
counterterrorism and security, and seeks to deepen our partnership on inclusive
economic growth and greater educational and cultural ties." he added.
"I extend Egyptians my warmest wishes for a productive
and prosperous future. We look forward to continued engagement, deepened
friendship, and expanded cooperation in the coming year." Trump said.
