Houthi militants killed, injured in clashes with Yemeni army

Yemeni army troops foiled on Sunday a fierce attack carried
out by Houthi militants in northeastern Saada governorate, leaving scores of
militants dead and injured.
The militants carried out intensified attacks on the sites
of the Yemeni army in the vicinity of Kitaf district, Saudi Al Ekhbariya news
channel quoted military sources as saying.
However, the militants were forced to withdraw from the
area, the sources added.
In Taiz governorate, an infiltration attempt by Houthi
militants into army outposts was thwarted, inflicting heavy damage on the
militia and its equipment.
