Egypt's mufti condemns terrorist attack in Kirkuk

Egypt's Mufti Dr Shawqi Allam has strongly condemned
a terrorist attack that targeted a football pitch in Dakuk district of Kirkuk
in the north of Iraq Sunday.
The attack by Daesh terrorist group left six
civilians dead and nine more injured.
Attacks on innocent people reflect the dark
ideologies adopted by terrorist groups, Allam said in a statement Monday.
Islamic teachings prohibit such attacks, Allam
stressed.
He called on the world community and effective
players to take measures to counter and eradicate terrorism.
The mufti condoled with families of the dead and
wished the injured a speedy recovery.
