A Pakistani national was injured by debris from a ballistic missile fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militia on the southwestern Saudi port city of Jazan, the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said Monday.
It added in a statement that was broadcast by the news channel Sky News Arabia that the Saudi Royal Air Force had intercepted the missile.
The missile, the coalition said, targeted a populated area in the port city.
Such
attacks put the security of Saudi Arabia, the region and the world in peril,
the coalition said in the statement.
