Researcher says Houthis make false statements

The Yemeni forces backed by the Arab
coalition are fighting to rid the city of Hodeidah of Houthi militias.
Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman for the Arab
Coalition for the Support of Legitimacy in Yemen, said in Riyadh on Monday that
the Yemeni troops backed by the Arab coalition forces were on the way to
capture Hodeidah's airport.
Researcher Mohamed Abbadi, an expert on
Shiite movements, told THEREFERENCE that Houthis "make false statements",
pointing out that the Iranian-backed militias planted landmines in Hodeidah to
stop the Yemeni forces backed by the Arab coalition.
"The coalition is paying close
attention to the humanitarian situation in Hodeidah. Its advance in the city
will take into consideration the civilians there," Abbadi said.
