Appeal of Aboul Fotouh, others in terrorist list case adjourned

The Court of Cassation on Saturday adjourned an
appeal case filed by head of Strong Egypt Party Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh, his
son and others against their placement on the terrorism list to October 19.
A lower court had added the defendants to the
terrorism list upon a request by the General Prosecution for committing hostile
acts against the state and its institutions and facilities.
They are
accused of publishing fake news aiming at harming the national interests of the
country, leading an illegal group, undermining the national unity and social
peace, inciting for overthrowing the regime and disrupting the public order.
