Sudan seeks removal from list of state sponsors of terrorism

The Sudanese government is seeking to remove Sudan
from a list of state sponsors of terrorism, Foreign Minister Asmaa Abdullah
said Monday.
The Foreign Ministry will act to achieve that for
Sudan to become open to the international community, particularly at the
economic and financial levels, Abdullah said in an interview with Al Arabiya Al
Hadath channel.
Abdullah had taken the constitutional oath as the
first female foreign minister of Sudan in the government of Prime Minister
Abdullah Hamdouk.
