Reasons behind the Qatari attack on Abdel Rahim Ali
A baseless media campaign,
led by Qatar and its organizations in Europe, had been brewing to smear and discredit
Abdel Rahim Ali and the efforts he makes, after his successful lecture, at the
French parliament on post-Islamic State terrorism, the dangers of financing
terrorism exported to Europe, and the role of the Muslim Brotherhood and its
international organization.
The Head of the Center for
Middle East Studies Abdel Rahim Ali, a member of the Egyptian parliament and
the outstanding researcher, has revealed at his lecture, the danger of some
Middle East countries that finance terrorism in the region and Europe, through
the social organizations funded by Doha.
Qatar through this purported
campaign against Ali, is trying to protect its economic interests in Europe,
which have been negatively affected by the facts that Ali publishes through the
Center for Middle East Studies in Paris and the press conferences he holds in
the French capital on the sources of terrorism, revealing the hidden arms of
Qatar in their funding extremist groups.
The campaign aims at
disrupting the movements of Abdel Rahim Ali in international forums in Europe,
that providing political guidance to European decision-makers on the hidden
facts behind extremist organizations in Europe and the Middle East, and also
confronting the Center for Middle East which revealed the civil organizations
established by Qatar and the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe to collect moneys; to
finance terrorist operations inside and outside Europe.
Qatar also cooperated with
the Israeli occupation in order to distort the image of Ali in Europe, through
the alleged charge by the Zionist movement «anti-Semitism», taking advantage of
the rejection of Ali of the US decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem,
and his rejection of Israeli brutality and the systematic occupation policy
against the Palestinians during the major march of the return. Therefore, many
Israeli websites published their rejection of the statement of Abdel Rahim Ali,
the opponent of the transfer of the American Embassy. Among these websites are:
Israel Times, le Journal du dimanche, Le Monde, and Stupan TV website.
On the other hand, there
have been support reactions to Abdel Rahim Ali against the malicious attack
that Qatar is carrying out on the pretext that Ali is an “anti-Semitic”. The MP
Yahya Kaddwani, the deputy of the Committee of Defense and National Security of
the Egyptian Parliament said: Ali respects all religions, pointing out that he
did not attack the Judaism in all his seminars.
He added that we must
distinguish between Judaism and Zionism, the first is a religion, the other is
a political movement killed Palestinians. He pointed out that Ali is Egyptian
citizen, has his reservations against the Zionism.
He continued: “The charges
against Ali, by the Qatari radio channels comes within the framework of a systematic
campaign aimed at undermining the determination and strength of him, especially
as he faces terrorist groups, and revealed their plans to the Arab and Western
countries”.
In the same context, MP
Shadia Khudair, a member of the Egyptian Parliament said: It is necessary to
distinguish between Judaism and Zionism, pointing out that Ali attracted the
attention of the attendance at the French Parliament, when he revealed that $
12 billion, was paid by the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe to form various associations
for future generations of the group.
Khudair added that the
attack of the Qatari newspapers and their broadcasts on Ali was not spurring of
the moment. She also asked Ali to continue ahead and reveal more of the lame
tricks played by Qatar.
MP Ahmad al-Awadhi, a member
of the Egyptian Parliament said: that Ali has many grave positions in the
detection of terrorist groups, the latest of which is the seminars held abroad
on Qatari practices towards Egypt and the Arab region.
He condemned the practices of
Qatar to distort the symbols and figures that are working on the detection of its
crimes, and the charging Ali by Anti-Semitic, after a lecture in which he spoke
before the French parliament, in the presence of Marin Le Pen, leader of the
French right-wing party “National Front”, on the dangers of terrorism, and
revealed supporters of the terrorist group.
Al-Awadhi said that all
these statements were false and far from the reality. A false allegation shows
the anger of the Qatari financiers about the role played by Ali in exposing the
scandals of the Qatari regime, which is still a supporter and official sponsor
of terrorism. He also praised the role played by Ali abroad to clarify the
reality of the Qatari regime and its support for terrorist organizations.
The MP Essam Al-Safi said
that it is not strange for Qatar to use its tools to distort any symbol that
shows the real face of Doha. The world knew what Qatar is doing to support
terrorism. Egypt was the first country to warn against the Qatari practices, seeks
to divide the Arab countries and destabilize the region's security and
stability in order to achieve its personal interests without paying attention
to peace-loving states.
He added that the aim of
Qatari regime is the fragmentation of the Arab countries, but there are
Egyptian figures face the Qatari conspiracies with the state and the parties,
through public seminars abroad.
