173 killed by landmines, explosive devices in Syria since start of 2019

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that at
least 173 people including 41 children were killed by landmines and explosive
devices in several areas in Syria since the beginning of 2019.
The number includes at least 44 civilians mostly women
who were killed in rural places, the observatory said on Thursday.
It added that the landmines and explosive devices left
scores of injured people mostly women whose injuries varied between serious
injuries and amputations.
