Pompeo: Iran is sponsor of terrorism in region

United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on
Wednesday Iran is a sponsor of terrorism country in the region, stressing the
necessity to reinforce defenses against Iranian threats.
Iran seeks to destabilize the region, Pompeo stated in a
press conference with his Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio.
Pompeo called upon Italy to work with the US in the face
of Iranian aggression.
On his part, Maio, said that Italy and the US have good
diplomatic relations.
Italy, US are keen on achieving stability, economic
growth and social development in both countries, the Italian minister added.
