Clashes erupt between Taliban and Afghan forces in Nangarhar

At least seven Taliban militants were killed and
nine others injured in clashes with Afghan forces in eastern Nangarhar province
of Afghanistan, Afghani newspapers reported on Thursday.
The provincial government media office in a
statement said fierce clashes between the Afghan forces and the Taliban
fighters took place late on Wednesday night after the rebel group attacked
security posts in Mamli Bagh area in Khogyani district.
