Afghanistan special forces kill 7 militants in Kandahar raids

Special Forces killed seven Taliban militants during
separate raids in southern Kandahar province, Khaama Press reported, quoting
the Afghan military.
According to a statement released by 205th Atal
Corps, the Special Forces conducted the raids in Sur Baghal, Qabr-e Malai and
Deh Maiwand Villages of Maiwand district.
The statement added that the Special Forces also
destroyed 13 fighting positions, eight tunnels and two compounds of the group
during the operations.
The Special Forces also discovered and defused 13
improvised explosive devices during the same operations, the 205th Atal Corps
added in its statement.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the
operations so far.
