Bahrain King, OIC Congratulate King Salman on 5th Anniversary of Accession to Power

Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa
congratulated in a cable on Friday Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King
Salman bin Abdulaziz on the fifth anniversary of his ascension to the throne,
reported the Saudi Press Agency.
Bahrain’s Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and
First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Prime
Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa sent King Salman similar cables.

Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen congratulated on Saturday King Salman on the
fifth anniversary of his ascension to the throne.
He said the Kingdom was “firmly moving forward
towards openness to the world and in communicating with other cultures.”
“It is demonstrating the true image of moderate
Islam,” he stressed, while citing Saudi Arabia’s “countless” achievements in
the past five years.
He highlighted the Kingdom’s diversification of its
sources of income, empowerment of women and the youth and hosting of next
year’s G20 summit.
