FAJ renews condemnation of all forms of terrorism
The Federation of Arab Journalists (FAJ) renewed its
condemnation of all forms and manifestations of terrorism, which threatens the
security and stability of peoples and nations.
The announcement came during a regular meeting of
the FAJ's General Secretariat in Riyadh.
The General Secretariat affirmed its readiness to
face what it called "infringements on freedom of press and
expression" through an effective work program.
It also stressed the necessity of respecting Arab
journalists' right to establishing independent professional organizations.
The General Secretariat renewed its unconditional
solidarity with Palestinian journalists, who couragely face the Zionist
occupation.
It also renewed its strong condemnation of arbitrary
Israeli policies, calling upon Arab professional press organizations to counter
all forms of normalization with the Israeli occupation.
