Saudi King Sends Message to Egyptian President

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman
bin Abdulaziz, has sent a message to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi,
the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The message was delivered on Thursday by Minister of
State and Cabinet Member Dr. Essam bin Saeed during his meeting with the Egyptian
President in Cairo, SPA said.
The Official Spokesman of the Egyptian Presidency,
Ambassador Bassam Radi, said in a statement that the message included
confirming the strength of historic relations that bring together the two
countries and peoples, the Kingdom's keenness on enhancing strategic
cooperation between the two states at various levels, and continuing the
process of joint work and coordination with Egypt on various regional and
international issues.
Radi said that the Egyptian President asked to
convey his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The President
also emphasized the special and fraternal nature of the Egyptian-Saudi
relations, as they represent a pillar of the stability of the region,
especially in light of the delicate situation that the Arab countries are going
through and the various challenges they face.
Sisi expressed his country's aspiration to continue
developing prospects of cooperation between the two countries in various fields
in order to achieve the common interests of the two peoples and supporting the
bonds of Arab solidarity, SPA added.
