Egypt slams Mogadishu terror bombing

Cairo has condemned a terror bombing at a Somali
police checkpoint in Mogadishu, which left dozens dead and injured.
In a statement on Saturday, the Foreign Ministry
voiced Egypt's rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism.
It also asserted solidarity with the sisterly
African nation's efforts to preserve its peace and stability.
The ministry extended Egypt's condolences to the
victims' families as well as the Somalian government and people, wishing the
wounded a speedy recovery.
Earlier on Saturday, a car bomb attack targeted a
security checkpoint in the Somali capital, leaving dozens dead and injured.
