The World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates
condemned in a statement a terrorist attack on peaceful civilians in Beni, in
eastern the Democratic Republic of Congo, leaving at least 20 civilians dead.
The statement stressed that killing people is one of
the grievous sins; as Allah said in the Holy Quran: "Who so slayeth a
believer of set purpose, his reward is hell forever."[Q. 4: 93].
The organization extended condolences to the
families of the victims, praying to Allah to spare the world the scourge of
terrorism.
