Turkish army kills 11 PKK militants in northern Iraq

Turkish army killed on Monday 11 members of the
Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in airstrikes on eastern Turkey and northern
Iraq, Radio Sawa reported.
The Turkish general staff said the airstrikes were
conducted between Saturday and Sunday in eastern Hakkari and Erzincan provinces
and Avasin-Basyan regions in northern Iraq.
Earlier, eight PKK militants were killed by the
Turkish army in northern Iraq.
