Egypt's army kills 52 takfiris, arrests 49 others

Security forces killed 52 takfiris in Sinai
as part of a comprehensive military operation to wipe out terrorism from the
Sinai Peninsula, the army said in its 26th communiqué on Sunday.
The air force destroyed 15 vehicles carrying
arms near the western border, as well as 17 others at the southern border.
The security forces, which comprise army troops
and police personnel, arrested 49 takfiris in central and north Sinai, the communiqué
added.
