Report throws light on Erdoğan's ambitions in Libya
The
true ambitions of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in
Libya transpire day after day. Erdoğan's
lewd way of controlling the resource-rich North African country also makes itself
clearer with every passing day.
Egyptian think tank, Maat Institute,
has recently released a report about Arab unanimity against the policies of the
Turkish president in the region.
The report throws light on Arab
opposition to these policies which aim at regional expansion and controlling
the resource of Libya, as well as backing terrorist organizations in it.
The report also mentions information
about the arms shipments Turkey sends to terrorist groups in Libya.
Egypt makes efforts to protect the
Libyan state and bring security and stability back to it, the report said.
It added that Cairo works to prevent
terrorist groups from controlling Libya, capitalizing on Turkish support.
The report sheds light on Erdoğan's
plan to control Libya's oilfields.
It said Turkey backs Libya's terrorist
organizations in their pursuit to control the central city of Sirte because it
contains Libya's largest oilfields.
Chairman of the Turkish opposition
People's Republican Party Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu criticized Erdoğan's policy of
supporting terrorist groups in Libya.
He said the Turkish president insists
to hide the truths and deny the Turkish people access to these truths.
Turkish citizens know, Kılıçdaroğlu
said, that Erdoğan sends Turkish troops and Syrian mercenaries to Libya.
