Yasin Aktay, an advisor of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is Erdogan's liaison officer with terrorists around the world, especially in Iraq and Syria.
Aktay is also the bridge through which
the members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood organization cross into Turkey
and enjoy protection.
Aktay was born on February 20, 1966,
in the southwestern Turkish city of Siirt. In 1986, he moved to Ankara to study
sociology at the Middle East University. He obtained a master's degree and a
PhD from the same university.
In
1992, Aktay was appointed as an assistant professor at the University of Selçuk
in Konya. In 2005, he was granted the title "professor" in sociology.
Aktay taught at some universities in the US for some time.
In
2011, Aktay worked in the media and hosted a talk show on one of the Turkish TV
channels. He also became the editor-in-chief of some publications. He continues
to contribute articles to newspapers that back Erdogan.
Aktay
joined the Justice and Development Party in 2002. He assumed a large number of
administrative posts inside the party. In 2017, Erdogan appointed him as his
most senior advisor and the head of Foreign Policies at the Turkish presidency.
Aktay
is one of the architects of Erdogan's policies in the Middle East region. His
job is mainly to communicate with terrorist groups. Sometimes he coordinates
terrorist attacks in Arab and Islamic states. He is an important link between
the Turkish regime and terrorist groups across the Arab region.
Aktay
has permanent channels of communication with the members of the Muslim
Brotherhood who had escaped from Egypt and Syria to Turkey. He is keen to
gather them in multiple events. He is also known to be the link between Erdogan
and the escaped members of the Muslim brotherhood in his country.
