Astounding circulation figures for Reference magazine, booklet

The French newspaper and magazine circulation syndicate said Friday that almost 52% of the copies of the first edition of The Reference magazine had already been sold, whereas 55% of the copies of the first edition of The Reference booklet had been sold.
In
a letter it sent to the Center for Middle East Studies, which publishes the
magazine and the booklet, the syndicate considered these circulation figures
to be an expression of great success for two publications that appear on
newsstands in France for the first time.
Titled
"Dangers posed by the thinking of the Brotherhood on the Western
Civilization", the booklet was written by center director and Egyptian
lawmaker Abdul Rahim Ali.
Apart
from the prelude, the booklet contained five researches: The Muslim Brotherhood
and non-Muslims, The Muslim Brotherhood and democracy, the Muslim Brotherhood
and the arts, the Muslim Brotherhood and women and the Muslim Brotherhood and
change through violence.
The
first edition of The Reference magazine contained, meanwhile, several
researches and studies, including a research on the post-Daesh era by French
counterterrorism expert Roland Jacquard, a file on terrorism financing by Swiss
researcher Richard Labeviere; Ian Hamel, who writes for the French weekly Le
Point; Abdul Rahim Ali, and Algerian researcher Etman Tazaghart.
The
same edition of the magazine contained a study by Ahmed Kamel al-Beheiri on the
future of Daesh-affiliated organizations in the Middle East. It contained
another study by Sally Youssef on statehood in the thinking of the Muslim
Brotherhood, al-Qaeda and Daesh.
The
edition contained a third study by Hamed al-Musalami on the international
nature of terrorism and the required globalization of the fight against
terrorism. There was another study by Abul Fadl al-Esnawi on whether the
Algerian experience in the fight against terrorism is still applicable in other
countries.
The
edition contained another study by Ali Bakr on the dangers posed by mujahedeen
youth on security in the Horn of Africa. There was an additional study in the
same edition by Ahmed Sami Abdel Fattah on the mechanisms employed by terrorist
organizations in Europe. Sadiq Amin Muhib also contributed another study to the
edition on lone wolves.
The
same edition contained several other studies that throw light on the realities
of the Muslim Brotherhood and the role Qatar plays in backing it.
The
magazine and the booklet are published in four languages, namely Arabic;
French; English, and German.
