Yemeni army, backed by Saudi-led coalition forces,
made advances into al Silo directorate in South East Taiz amid retreat of
Houthi troops which suffered big material and humanitarian losses, Al Arabiya
Channel reported quoting field sources.
The sources noted that the Yemeni army has fully
controlled the directorate and secured its entrances and bridges.
Meanwhile, a military source asserted that Houthis
suffered big humanitarian losses at the time when Arab coalition warplanes
destroyed a set of military equipment for the Houthis.
In Hodeidah, the Yemeni army cut the Houthi militia
supply routes between At Tuhayta, Zabid and Bayt al-Faqih districts, a military
source said.
The source also said violent battles are ongoing in
east of At Tuhayta towards Zabid, adding that the army forces seized control of
the At Tuhayta-Zabid triangle.
The Houthis’ random and heavy shelling of At Tuhayta
