MWL condemns Canadian diplomatic interference in Saudi internal affairs

The Muslim World League (MWL) on Monday condemned
the Canadian government's blatant interference in the internal affairs of the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to an MWL statement carried by Saudi Press
Agency (SPA).
“Stepping out of the legal framework and ethics of
international affairs reflects in some ways the level of misjudgment that
accompanies information that does not exceed the single-source analysis,” the
statement added.
Saudi Arabia has the right to take a strict stance
it finds appropriate towards Canada’s “unprecedented” intervention in the
kingdom’s internal affairs, Al Arabiya English news channel quoted the MWL
statement as also saying.
The statement further stressed the need for
committing to international conventions, principles, and norms, which dictate
respecting the sovereignty of each country and not intervening in any country's
internal affairs, the news channel added.
