9 Daesh tunnels discovered in Iraq's Nineveh

Nine Daesh tunnels were discovered in Nineveh in
northern Iraq, Iraqi Police Media Center (PMC) announced on Monday.
Security forces affiliated to Nineveh operations
command found 12 improvised explosive devices (IED's) and nine tunnels, one of
which was booby-trapped, PMC Chairman Yehia Rasoul said in statements carried
by Alsumaria news channel.
The booby-trapped tunnel was destroyed. The forces
liquidated 20 terrorists found in another tunnel in Badush village, Rasoul
added. In Al Sallam village, 42 IEDs were also found and destroyed.
Moreover, 15 rockets and 21 home-made IEDs were
found. Security forces have recently found several tunnels reported to be left
behind by Daesh terrorist group in separate areas.
