A staff reorganization at the Elysee presidential
palace is expected following the scandal of Benalla gate, as Macron’s personal
bodyguard Alexandre Benalla covered up violent acts committed at a May 1
demonstration.
The President Macron’s office director, Patrick
Strzoda (a well-known security director) is likely to step down and a new
position will be created, named the General Coordinator of the Presidential
Palace staff, according to Le Parisien.
The sources added that within two weeks the guard of
the president will be integrated with the army force that protects the palace
and its facilities, led by General Eric Biovarina.
