US cut aid to Palestinians
Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine
Liberation Organization Hanan Ashrawy on Saturday described as irresponsible
and immoral a US decision cutting 200 million dollars from Palestinian aid.
In press statements, she said that the US
administration has proven that it adopts the method of cheap blackmail as a
tool of pressure to obtain ulterior political goals.
She asserted that the Palestinian people and
leadership will never bow to threats and coercion.
She further confirmed that the Palestinian rights
are not subject to bargaining.
The decision shows that the US is conspiring with
the Israeli occupation which stole lands and resources of the Palestinians.
The US State Department announced on Friday that the
administration of US President Donald Trump decided cancelling more than 200
million dollars of aid to Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
